The Storica model is an all-wood window frame designed and manufactured to make even buildings of historical and artistic heritage energy efficient.

Its classic lines meet cutting-edge industrial production. For this reason, on the Storica model, the external drip tray is integrated into the lower crossbar, thus ensuring a retro aesthetic with futuristic performance.

Storica is a window frame that can be enhanced with Tuscan-style slats and/or internal shutters, available in both classic and folding versions.

It’s already understandable as it is, but we like to explain it in detail.

All BG Legno products feature integrated construction technology applied to the entire internal perimeter of the sash, both for the uprights and the crossbars that make up the window frame.

The glazing bead is therefore integrated directly into the door leaf and robotically extruded using numerically controlled machinery. This solution offers two improvements: in terms of performance, it increases the strength and robustness of the window or door, especially against break-ins. Aesthetically, it permanently removes the unsightly nails used to secure traditional glazing beads.

To increasing the performance of the window frame, the coating process has also been optimized and implemented robotically to maximize effectiveness and reduce waste.
BG Legno window frames are treated with the exclusive use of water-based paints, a totally non-toxic solution that ensures less environmental impact when disposing of the window frames.

An unconventional painting: BG Legno window frames are painted from disassembled, which means that each component is fully protected even at the head joints.

This particular paint system makes the frame truly long-lived and able to resist pathogen attacks and inert to the development of mold and similar.
